Call of Duty: Warzone Season 06 has officially arrived with a Halloween-themed update that reshapes the battle royale experience through a redesigned map, new limited-time content, weapon adjustments, updated rewards, and changes to competitive progression.

By contrast, weapons such as the MK35 ISR and VST receive reductions to portions of their damage profiles. The VST also receives slower ADS speed in Battle Royale and Resurgence.

Shotguns have also been adjusted. The Echo 12 receives an increased medium damage range, while the M10 Breacher gains additional effective range across several damage brackets and an increase in bullet velocity from 320m/s to 450m/s in Battle Royale and Resurgence.

AFK Detection and Match Quality Improvements

Raven Software has also made changes aimed at improving match quality.

Season 06 introduces clearer AFK notifications. Players detected as inactive will receive an on-screen warning, while teammates will also be alerted when someone in their squad is flagged as inactive.
